Oct 24, 2023 · I had FSD in my previous Model S (which cost me $3k on top of EAP), but I only bought EAP for my new S. It would cost less to subscribe to FSD for $100/month than to buy it outright unless I keep the car for a long time, and for now I only plan to subscribe for road trips.

Aug 17, 2024 · Looking at the current priorities of Tesla with FSD supervised rollout focused towards China and Europe, I think FSD supervised in RHD markets will slip beyond 1H 2025. Happy to be proven otherwise though since I have paid for FSD capability and would love to try it.

May 7, 2023 · FSD navigates parking lots MUCH better than ASS. It is much faster, much surer and likely safer. If any thing ASS is proof we will NEVER have L4 FSD on our personal cars. If we could have L4 FSD then ASS would be irrelevant and Tesla would not need to offer it. Tesla would just improve FSD to park and backup in parking lots.

Oct 3, 2014 · Totally bizarre, but even more odd on the way out. I went through the Arby's drive thru and prepared to leave the parking lot, in the spot where FSD didn't want to turn at. All it needed to do was a simple right turn out of the lot, but instead it turned left, went 3 blocks and u-turned, drove past Arby's and got back on the freeway.

We may or may not have complete autonomous FSD even after 5 years from now but I am very happy to drive current FSD version and I am sure it will be improving month by month with more regression and more optimization. Oct 12, 2024 · FSD v13 was posted as a goal for October in the roadmap. I was waiting for 12.5.6 when I realized the team must be working on 13 as Omar stated that’s what the robo taxis were running. So far the roadmap goals have been met. Half a month left if we’re being optimistic.
