But now as SAMSUNG is set to have 83" QD-OLED model in their lineup. I think SONY will follow suit and have 83" QD-OLED model in their lineup as well.

Nov 25, 2024 · Currently the 88" OLED's only exist with the 8k resolution models. The TV's sold in Asia are worlds beyond what we get here in the west. They get 20k+ dimming zones on their MiniLED's, even the 85", and better quality control on OLED in general. Perhaps long travel distances damages models, but QA seems to be an issue for a lot of OLED's above 77".

I also have constant light patches in my vision, as if I had been staring into the sun. I had no problems with my previous IPS TV.
