The Colombian superstar begins her Latin American trek tour, in support of her Billboard chart-topping 12th album.

Shakira launched her first worldwide tour in seven years from Rio de Janeiro this week for her latest Grammy-winning album "Las mujeres ya no lloran" (Women Don't Cry Anymore).With more than 90 million records sold worldwide and four Grammy Awards under her belt, among many other prizes, Shakira is one of the most popular Latin artists of all time.

Shakira set the stage on fire—literally and figuratively—on the first night of her "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" tour in Rio de Janeiro. From the moment she stepped onto the stage, it was clear that this would be more than just a concert.

And so it begins: Shakira started her massive “ Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour ” in Brazil on Tuesday night. This is the first of over 30 dates that will see the Colombian singer traveling across Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and North America.
