Shelby Houlihan wins 5000m race at USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships, qualifies U.S. Outdoor Team
Sioux City native Shelby Houlihan claimed gold at the 2025 USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships in Oregon with a time of 15:13.61, qualifying for her first U.S. Outdoor team since 2019. Houlihan’s impressive return continues five months after winning silver in the 3000m race at the World Indoor Championships.
