Jase Richardson scored 18 of his career-high 29 points in the second half, lifting No. 9 Michigan State to a comeback 86-74 win over Oregon that gave coach Tom Izzo 353 Big Ten wins to tie Bob Knight’s record.

No. 11 Michigan State men's basketball had a memorable game against Oregon and will look to have another when it hosts Indiana on Tuesday.

Freshman Jase Richardson dropped 29 points on Oregon in first Spartans start in front of wild crowd, dad and Michigan State basketball royalty.

Michigan State led by as many five before Oregon went on a 13-3 run while staying hot from deep. Then Brandon Angel and Shelstad knocked down a pair of triples on consecutive trips down the floor and Izzo called timeout with the Ducks up 40-30 with 3:29 left in the half.

Michigan State basketball was able to avoid a three-game losing streak, coming back against Oregon and shocking the Ducks after going down 50 to 36 in the first half. Despite the nice win, the Spartans still fell two spots in the AP Poll this week thanks to their rough road trip in Los Angeles.
