Cleveland erupted for eight runs in the sixth inning, rallying past the Nationals 8-6 to take the series in Washington.

The last time Cleveland scored eight times in an inning was Sept. 17, 2023 against Texas. In all, the Guardians sent 13 batters to the plate with six hits, three walks, two wild pitches, a stolen base and a hit batter. Arias finished with a career-high four hits, including a double.
