The Minnesota college student who was with University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Konanki the night she went missing is "ready to go home and go back to my life."

A Dominican Republic judge has accepted St. Cloud University student Joshua Riibe’s request for release after his attorneys argued that he was unlawfully detained following the disappearance of Sudiksha Konanki.

Earlier on Tuesday, investigators from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, Konanki's hometown law enforcement, said they do not believe Riibe was involved.
