Iranian state media outlet Tasnim News said that on July 23, at around ten in the morning, the USS Fitzgerald intended to approach the waters around Iran. Iran is seeking to get back some pride in the wake of its drubbing at the hands of Israel and the US during the 12-day war that ended a month ago on June 24.
Now that the rhetorical debris has settled from Israel’s 12-day war with Iran, there’s growing evidence that Iran’s nuclear program suffered such severe damage that it will be neutered for at least a year, and probably far longer.
After a five-year drought and decades of mismanagement, Tehran is at risk of running out of water in several weeks, the government warned.
