Trade negotiations appear to be in something of a standoff, with Houston having a “firm offer” for Kevin Durant while Phoenix remains “underwhelmed.”

As the Phoenix Suns weigh their offers for Kevin Durant in a trade that reportedly could be consummated at any time now, a lot of the talk is about what players are off the table as part of their return for the future Hall of Famer.

"Rudy Gobert is believed to be the best player offered to the Suns thus far in Kevin Durant trade talks," Sidery wrote on X Monday. "The Timberwolves’ offer is built around Gobert [and] Donte DiVincenzo, two win-now veterans. Even though Durant doesn’t want to be there, Minnesota might be the current favorite."
