On Friday morning, the Friends of Big Bear Valley live camera showed the baby eaglets in their nest, but one of the three appeared to be missing. All three eaglets had successfully hatched last week as Jackie and Shadow were spotted keeping them warm and feeding them.

Just as all three eaglets hatched from their eggs in the Big Bear nest about one week ago, on Friday morning, only two of the little ones could be seen bobbing about for their feeding.The Friends of Big Bear Valley's nest cam captures the nest life of Jackie and Shadow.

Sandy Steers, the executive director of the Friends of Big Bear Valley said the organization is trying to determine why one of the three eaglets appear to be missing from the nest of Jackie and Shadow on Friday morning.
