Israel is cutting off its electricity supply to Gaza as the country’s energy minister vowed to use “all the tools available” to free the last of the hostages held by Hamas. The supply of electricity into the Gaza Strip from Israel was cut off suddenly on Sunday by the Israel Electric Corporation on the orders of Energy Minister Eli Cohen.

Israel’s energy minister said he will cut power to the Gaza Strip immediately. U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff is expected to attend talks with Israel and Hamas.
