AS THEY REFLECT ON ANOTHER YEAR OF WAR. TODAY, FEBRUARY 24TH, IS A TRAGIC DAY IN THE HISTORY OF UKRAINE. IT’S BEEN THREE YEARS SINCE RUSSIA’S INVASION OF UKRAINE. I REMEMBER THAT DAY WE WAS WAKE UP BECAUSE WE SAW WE HEARD THE BOMB OUTSIDE MY WINDOW.

Feb. 24 marked the third anniversary of the war, which involved a Russian ground invasion in the eastern part of Ukraine as well as frequent missile attacks on other areas of the country. Tens of thousands of soldiers, along with civilians, have been killed or wounded, according to the United Nations.
