Construction could begin in late spring 2026 on the properties, now that the social enterprise has acquired more than five acres in South Ribble from Brookhouse Group.

The council has issued a tender notice as it looks to deliver a flagship regeneration scheme including residential, offices, and a hotel at the site of the former shopping centre.
