Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum appears to have suffered a serious injury in Monday's Game 4 playoff loss against the New York Knicks.Trailing the Knicks in the waning minutes of the fourth quarter, Tatum crumbled to the floor while pursuing a loose ball. He immediately grabbed at the lower part of his right leg in obvious pain.

NEW YORK -- The Celtics blew a 14-point second half lead but may have lost much in Game 4 on Monday night in a 121-113 loss to the Knicks. Jayson Tatum had to be helped off the floor late in the fourth quarter with what appeared to be a serious right leg injury.

Jalen Brunson had 39 points and 12 assists, and the New York Knicks moved a win away from their first Eastern Conference finals appearance in 25 years and pushed the defending champion Boston Celtics to the brink of elimination with a 121-113 victory Monday night in Game 4.
