Authorities in Macoupin County are investigating a deadly incident. Illinois State Police responded to reports of a potential road rage situation on Fosterburg Road Thursday afternoon. Officers discovered one person dead at the scene.

The media release said no arrests have been made in the case, but ISP does not believe there is any threat to the public associated with the crash.

At least three people have been taken into custody in connection with Friday night's incident in Dearborn.
