The race to qualify for the Tour Championship is incredibly tight with some big names needing to perform well just to make it to Atlanta

This week's FedEx St. Jude Championship kicks off the 2025 FedEx Cup Playoffs and only the top 70 players from the 2025 season have qualified. Rory McIlroy decided to take a pass on the event at TPC Southwind in Memphis this week, so only 69 golfers will actually be teeing it up. Sunday night, the top 50 will then advance to the BMW Championship.
