Delta said 25 people were hospitalized after a flight from Salt Lake City made an emergency landing in Minneapolis due to severe turbulence.

Delta Air Lines said 25 passengers were taken to local hospitals for evaluation and care after their flight was diverted to MSP.

Flight DL56 from Salt Lake City to Amsterdam "encountered significant turbulence" and landed at Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport, the airline said.
