After half a century of creating the world’s best-known folding bicycle, Brompton can now tackle tracks and urban paths with the new 20-inch wheeled G Line

British folding bike maker Brompton has today introduced two small-wheel gravel bikes, one of them with a battery and electric power assist.

The G Line, which goes on sale on October 7, marks the first break by the London-based manufacturer from making bikes with the 16-inch diameter wheels it has used since launching in 1975. The bike will still be foldable but will have 20-inch wheels and hydraulic disc brakes instead of traditional brakes acting directly on the wheel rims.

The iconic folding bike brand pedals a bicycle to customers who want to reach well beyond the city limits and deep into the countryside
