UConn women's basketball star Paige Bueckers made her WNBA debut Friday night with her father and her former teammate KK Arnold in the stands.

Hopkins, Minnesota, will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony, food and beverages named after Bueckers, and a watch party for the WNBA rookie's debut.

Bueckers, who was the No. 1 draft pick this year, will make her WNBA debut with the Dallas Wings on Friday against the Minnesota Lynx.
