President Donald Trump said Saturday that he is beginning to question whether Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to end the Russia-Ukraine war, a warning shot to the Russian leader that came just after Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Rome.

President Trump said Saturday that he doubts Russia’s Vladimir Putin wants to end his war in Ukraine. Only a day earlier, Trump said Ukraine and Russia were " very close to a deal."

The former vice president made the comparison during an event Monday to kick off San Francisco's Climate Week.

Former Vice President Al Gore went after the Trump administration in his speech at the San Francisco Climate Week gathering. Gore said the administration is attacking the very heart of the distinction between true and false as well as creating their own version of reality,

"Real Time" host Bill Maher pressed former Vice President Al Gore for comparing the Trump administration to Nazis, telling him it's a "hard word to use with nuance."
