The New England Patriots placed offensive lineman Wes Schweitzer on the retired list Tuesday, opening a 90-man roster spot. Schweitzer, 31, arrived in Foxborough on a one-year contract in free agency.

All of the outdoor practices are open to the public with free parking and admission. Veterans are required to report on July 22 with the first official practice date set for Wednesday, July 23, on the grass fields behind Gillette Stadium. The practice date on August 6 will be a joint session with the Washington Commanders.
