Paramount Global said it swung to a loss in the fourth quarter, as a surge in costs tied to content and restructuring offset robust performance by the media conglomerate’s film and streaming operations.

Paramount Global missed Wall Street expectations in its fourth quarter of 2024, after its results were weighed down by operating losses in its direct-to-consumer and filmed entertainment divisions and lower revenue and operating profit in its TV/Media segment.

The star-studded organized crime series from filmmaker Guy Ritchie has landed on a title, as well as a premiere date on Paramount+. The drama is called MobLand, and it will debut March 30 on Paramount+ in the United States,

Paramount announced this morning that its drama September 5, which is currently up for the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay, will make its streaming debut on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada on February 25. As is always the case with that streamer, the film’s availability in additional international markets will be announced down the road.

Guy Ritchie’s new untitled series is now known as MobLand which has moved from Showtime to Paramount+. The title is set to premiere on Sunday, March 30 on the streamer in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia.
