As the investigation into the 34-year-old mother from Pontiac, Michigan who police say abandoned her three children continues, crews cleaned up the townhome that investigators say the children lived in for years.

Cleaning crews were on site at the home where three Pontiac kids were left abandoned and living in squalor for years.

Some of that support came from the Oakland County CARE House, a child advocacy center, where kids who have experienced abuse and trauma can have a safe place to talk about what happened.

Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard says the three children who were found living in a Pontiac home in "deplorable shape" were abandoned by their mother five years ago. Oakland County deputies received a call on Feb.
