Cities across the country will see protesters take to the streets on June 14. The nationwide protest is called the 'No Kings Mass Protest.'

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (AP) — A man posing as a police officer shot and killed a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband in a brazen attack at their home early Saturday, and a second lawmaker and his wife were wounded in a separate shooting in what Gov. Tim Walz described as “targeted political violence.”

Coordinated "No Kings" protests are underway from coast-to-coast, part of a "national day of peaceful protest" against the Trump administration that is expected to draw millions. Protesters in some areas braved wet weather to raise signs and chant slogans supporting the rights of immigrants and criticizing what they see as Trump's power grab.

LAPD said law enforcement arrested 38 people following the "No Kings" protests in downtown Saturday afternoon.

The demonstrations come on the heels of protests flaring up around the country over federal immigration enforcement raids that began last week and Trump ordering National Guard troops and Marines to Los Angeles where protesters blocked a freeway and set cars on fire.
