Hundreds of National Guard troops arrived in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday morning after President Trump ordered their deployment following days of violent clashes between law enforcement officers and protesters.

More demonstrations are under way in Los Angeles as the Trump Administration more than tripled the number of troops in the city and Gov. Gavin Newsom sued to stop him.
