In a recent CNN exit poll, nearly 40% of Georgia voters identified the economy as their top concern, contrasting with the national trend where democracy ranks highest among voters' priorities.

The poll showed 73 per cent of voters believed democracy was in jeopardy, against just 25 per cent who said it was secure.
