Blackstone Inc. executive Wesley LePatner has been named as one of the four people killed in the mass shooting in New York on Monday evening.

LePatner also was an active volunteer, serving on Yale's Library Council and the school's “For Humanity” fundraising campaign.

Wesley LePatner, a Blackstone executive with deep ties to Jewish communal organizations in New York City, was killed in the Monday shooting at the firm’s Midtown headquarters, the company confirmed on Tuesday.
