Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were notably absent from the many stars in attendance at the 2025 Met Gala. The appearance would have marked Kelce's Met Gala debut and Swift's first since 2016.

Some of the Met Gala's biggest style icons including Blake Lively and Sarah Jessica Parker among others were missing Monday night.

The gala’s co-chairs and committee members are expected to attend. This year, Pharrell Williams, Lewis Hamilton, Colman Domingo and A$AP Rocky are co-chairing alongside Vogue’s Anna Wintour. LeBron James was named honorary chair, though he said early Monday that he was not attending due to a knee injury.
