Protesters in Georgia are planning a day of defiance against Trump, with events in Atlanta and other cities nationwide.

Metro Atlanta and numerous towns in the state of Georgia joined cities, towns and communities across the nation on June 14 for a day of protests and demonstrations.

The rallies counter a large military parade in Washington, D.C., to celebrate the Army’s 250th anniversary and Flag Day.

Protesters gathered in major Georgia cities on Saturday to protest President Donald Trump’s administration and its immigration enforcement policies, part of a broader wave of demonstrations across the country.

ATLANTA — Thousands of people are expected to participate in protests across north Georgia on Saturday. Organizers are planning nearly two dozen protests all across metro Atlanta and north Georgia as part of the nationwide “No Kings” demonstrations against President Donald Trump and his policies.
