Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders fell to pick No. 144 of the 2025 NFL Draft, and ESPN NFL Draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. was not happy about it. Kiper mocked Shedeur to go to the New Orleans Saints with the No. 9 overall pick in Thursday's first round. Kiper has long believed Shedeur is the best quarterback prospect in this year's draft.

Colorado football star Shedeur Sanders was prank called during the NFL Draft by Ole Miss frat bros posing as the New Orleans Saints front office.

Shedeur Sanders, who had decided to skip going to the NFL draft in person in Green Bay, Wisconsin, was with his family at his father Deion's home outside of Dallas. Shedeur was clearly confused by the phone call, asking his family, "What does that mean?"
