The New York Knicks are back in front in their best-of-seven NBA playoff series against the Detroit Pistons. The Knicks won Game 3 on Thursday, 118-116, as Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns combined for 61 points during a chippy game in Detroit.

LONDON AND ABU DHABI — The National Basketball Association (NBA) and the Department of Culture and Tourism — Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) today announced that The NBA Abu Dhabi Games 2025 will feature the New York Knicks and the Philadelphia 76ers playing preseason games on Thursday, Oct. 2 and Saturday, Oct. 4 at Etihad Arena on Yas Island.

The New York Knicks finished the NBA regular season 51-31 and are hoping to advance past the second round of the playoffs for the first time since the 1990-00 season. They’re two games into their first-round series against the Detroit Pistons. After taking Game 1 with a 123-112 win, they fell short in Game 2, losing 100-94.
