Sarah Michelle Gellar confirmed reports that she is working on a reboot of her hits show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer."

"Thank you to all the fans who never stopped asking for this. This will be for you," Gellar said of the revival.

According to early reports of the reboot, Gellar will only appear in a recurring capacity and will not be leading the series. Instead, the series will reportedly feature a new slayer, which sounds like Buffy may be serving as a mentor to the new young hero. She will also serve as an executive producer on the series.
