Iron Man and Captain America are the backbone of the Avengers in the MCU. While they work great together, their stubbornness and differences came to a head in Captain America: Civil War.

Of course, we all know what happened after that: Iron Man did in fact fight Captain America; the Marvel Creative Committee was disbanded in 2015, and the MCU is more popular than ever.

So, Iron Man tracked Captain America at Avengers Mansion and tried to beat him up…twice. Captain America gained the upper hand in each battle, leading Iron Man to realize that he’d been duped.
