What a moment for Bubba Wallace at this year's Brickyard 400. Not only did the 31-year-old driver outlast the competition in double OT to take the checkered flag at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, but he also became the first Black driver in history to walk with a trophy on the course's oval track.

His second family, other Cup drivers, also embraced Wallace following the biggest victory of his career. By becoming the first Black driver to win a major race on Indianapolis Motor Speedway's historic 2.5-mile oval, Wallace also locked up his second playoff appearance.

Denny Hamlin watched as Bubba Wallace quieted the doubters and won the Brickyard 400. It was the biggest win of his NASCAR Cup Series career, and a landmark victory for 23XI Racing as a team.
